We apologize for the hiatus. We have been up to so much already this year at Freder...

Hold on just a second. First, we would like to wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR! We hope it has started out well for everyone reading this post. We also hope that your holidays were full of cheer and all the good stuff they are supposed to be full of, and that you have RECUPERATED from them as well.

That said, We have been up to so much already this year at Frederic's. We have adopted a more focused attitude about our service, our education, and about our guests. Throughout the year you can be assured that we will provide you with the best experience whenever you visit us. You can count on the fact that we will be friendly, attentive and knowledgeable when it comes to you and your hair.

We are pleased to announce that Erin, our in-salon cutting coach will be attending another Aveda Coach Jam in the coming months, and will be educating our stylists on Aveda's current haircutting trends. VERY EXCITING!

And finally, we are offering a special on the Essential Back Treatment, so stop in and let Addi work her magic!

We are looking forward to seeing you all this year, and having you be a part of all the exciting goings on within the salon.

Katie and I want to thank our Frederic's team for helping make our Christmas party a LOVELY one. Everyone looked beautiful and dapper and we all felt quite Christmassy (is that a word?) We appreciate the fact that we all made the best of a TIGHT situation and still had a lot of fun.

And finally, we want to thank all the Frederic's ladies for our MOST EXCELLENT gifts. You guys go FAR beyond the call of duty for us.

Products We Love

My favorite facial product is the Tourmaline Hydrating Creme.  It is part of the Tourmaline line and the Botanical Skin Resurfacing Facial.  This super hydrating moisturizer helps protect your skin from everyday toxins and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.  This mixture contains 11 natural anti-oxidants, meadowfoam seed oil, finely powdered tourmaline and vitamins A, C and E, which leaves the skin healthy and radiant looking.  I love to use it in the winter when my skin starts to get drier because of the weather.  To use, apply a small amount to the neck and work your way up using your fingertips in an upward circular motion.  This moisturizer goes a long way and takes a minute or two to absorb into the skin.  If you feel like you put too much on, gently pat your skin with a tissue to help absorb some of the creme.

Holiday Open House!

We had our annual Holiday Open House on Wednesday December 2nd, and it was GREAT!

There was a lot of yummy food, lots of good drinks, and everyone that came to visit was happy to be a part of the festivities. We offered complimentary neck and shoulder massages, makeup touchups, consultations, and 10% off gift certificates, and 15% off products. We want to thank Carol Holloway for helping us host the event, and Joanne Davis of Tasty Treats (JMDPAG@CS.COM) for the LOVELY mini cupcakes (with BUTTER CREAM FROSTING! yum!)
